Kyoto Microcomputer announced ARM 11 based new evaluation board, KZM-ARM11-01.
For immediate release:
Kyoto Japan, June 21, 2006:
Embedded Linux debugging system and JTAG ICE specialist Kyoto Microcomputer (KMC), today announced ARM11 based high performance evaluation board,
KZM-ARM11-01 which comes with Linux 2.6. This KMC's new evaluation board includes Linux 2.6 source binary as well as ARM11 tool chain. These allow users to develop Linux application or debug software right away. KZM ARM11-01 supports KMC's JTAG ICE, PARTNER-Jet, and plenty of peripheral such as ATA, USB 2.0, SD, LCD and so on.
Developers can utilize KZM-ARM11-01 board for prototype and evaluation of ARM11 or Linux based system, development middleware which runs in Linux or ARM11, and evaluation of operation systems such as Linux, Windows CE, and ITRON. KZM-ARM11-01 supports data communication module as option, so it can be used as a software development platform for mobile applications. Moreover, combining with PARTNER-Jet's debug features, developers can debug the included Linux from kernel to process completely.
We will demonstrate KZM-ARM11-01 with PARTNER-Jet at Embedded Systems Expo & Conference in Tokyo (ESEC).
