Kyoto Microcomputer started shipping PARTNER debugger software version 5.6
SnapShot debugger is newly added and it makes efficient debug possible

Embedded debugging system and JTAG Emulator specialist Kyoto Microcomputer (KMC) today announced that the new PARTNER debugger software version 5.6 has been started shipping. The users who has effective annual technical support contract can download the PARTNER version 5.6 from KMC's
download web site.
The following features are newly added to PARTNER version 5.6.

SnapShot debugger feature
* ARM Cortex-A8 is supported for PARTNER for ARM
By utilizing SnapShot debugger, the users can store the status of a program that is being debugged as a snapshot file just like taking a picture. The SnapShot debugger reproduces the status of the debugged program, without using the target system, by loading the snapshot file into a virtual target.
SnapShot debugger can be used for checking the saved status of a target by multiple persons or having a distant person remotely check the saved status of a target via the network.
With SnapShot debugger, the users are able to do the following things:
* Refer to the specified area (memory) in both physical address and virtual address through TLB.
* Refer to CPU registers
* Refer to the executed trace (ETM, AUD)
* Display the result of the disassembled in the specified area
* With load the source debug information, refer to the address and inspect display the variables.
* Back trace display of functions
* Support Event Tracker
* Support OS debugging (Necessary the each OS option)
