The leading embedded development environment provider Kyoto Microcomputer (KMC), today announced ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore based low-cost, small size, high performance evaluation board,
KZM-A9-Dual. It realizes the next generation low-power and high performance applications by utilizing the latest multi-core technologies. The KZM-A9-Dual provides the complete package to evaluate ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore by using included Linux 2.6 and Android 2.2. The CPU configured by two of Cortex-A9 which equipped L2 cache. With the size of 12cm x 12.5cm, KZM-A9-Dual evaluation board has rich peripherals such as LCD/touch panel, SD, USB, Audio, HDMI, LAN, and JTAG debug connector and more. The price of KZM-A9-Dual is JPY98,000 with LCD panel attached. KMC starts accepting orders from December and the KZM-A9-Dual will be shipped in January 2011.
The combination of KZM-A9-Dual evaluation board and PARTNER-Jet, high performance JTAG Emulator enables to maximize the evaluation and application development for ARM Cortex-A9. PARTNER-Jet supports ARM CoreSight debug architecture, and also ARM v7 architecture such as NEON, Thumb2 technologies. It provides effective and rich debug solution for ARM processors. You can debug Multi-core, SMP, Linux, and Android with the PARTNER-Jet.
